Our customer, a world-renowned designer of exquisite backgammon boards, had a request from a prospective buyer in Singapore who wanted to view the bespoke piece before deciding to buy.
Our in-house crating team professionally crated the expensive backgammon board and table. We organised with our counterparts in Singapore to find a customs bonded facility within the freeport which had rooms where the shipment could be unpacked and a viewing could be organised. We shipped the product to Singapore as a temporary export and then organised the viewing and video conferencing at the same time within the bonded facility.
The shipment was opened in the presence of officials, the viewing was done by the prospective buyer, and we then re-crated the shipment. The backgammon board and table was then shipped back to the UK safely.
